6-8 points in the best six subjects including English and maths, with mainly 1s or 2s in all subjects
You must come from a financially needy family. In practice, this means your parents/guardians wouldn’t be able to afford for you to go to university without financial support and, even with a 100% loan, you would be at risk of dropping out of university
You need to demonstrate leadership skills and teamwork
You must want to use your education to help solve some of the challenges you see around you
You must understand and want to fully and enthusiastically participate in our Young Leaders Programme
You should have a positive approach to volunteering and community
service
Then you must be outstanding during the whole application process.
